Easily accessible from Dar es Salaam, Mikumi National Park is a fantastic safari option for those short on time. Its wide open plains host elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and more—reminiscent of the Serengeti, but with fewer crowds. A great destination for a first safari or a spontaneous escape into nature.
